Registered and ready for race day!! But really, time to train to break my last PR.
A friend just informed me of a new challenge RunDisney is offering the weekend of the 2013 Disneyland Half Marathon.
19.3 miles, 2 day span, 3 medals, and a new PR??
CHALLENGE ACCEPTED.
It’s been nearly 2 months since I last ran. I stopped training so my body could heal from my 1/2 marathon and 10 mile race this past fall. I did a light jog this evening, and my hips and knees no longer ache. lol I’m getting old!!
But, I’m registering for my next race! The OC 1/2 Marathon is this coming spring, and I’m eager to get back into training mode. ^.^
Last day of training before my first 1/2 on Sunday. Looking at the course map got me both winded and excited. Time to carb up and hydrate until then!!!
